Mission (C.A.A. Mission)
The CAA Mission as it relates to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
As we work diligently as a team to Create Awareness and Alternatives for young potential migrants within African states, this mission will afford us the opportunity to promote some of the UN SDG goals as they relate to our set mission.
Building A Culture Of Service
The CAA mission will seek opportunities to encourage government and work with private and public sector organizations to promote zero poverty goals. This is vital as poverty is one of the main cause of migration and the increased risk of taking dangerous routes due to a lack of access to enough economic means to access safe path ways.
Goal 4: Ensure Inclusive & Equitable Quality Education & Promote Lifelong Learning Opportunities To All
CAA mission will seek scholarships both within and outside Africa for the young people in a bid to encourage quality knowledge acquisition and learning opportunities. For instance, one of the safe pathways being implemented in Europe is through access to higher education. Therefore, we plan to contact universities that are already implement ing such projects to participate in the campaign.
Goal 8: Promote Sustained. Inclusive & Sustainable, Economic Growth, Full & Productive Employment & Decent Work For All
CAA mission will contact and encourage the public and private sectors in their campaign to create employment opportunities and decent work for the youths. This campaign will seek to partner with private and public sector organisations to achieve this SDG goal.
Goal 11; Make Cities & Public Settlements Inclusive, Save, Resilient & Sustaiable
This is another important goal we seek to address with this mission. Campaigning for safer, inclusive and habitable locations and places for youth provide opportunities for those who choose to stay.
Goal 16: Promote Peaceful & Inclusive Societies For Sustainable Development, Provide Access To Justice For All & Build Effective, Accountable & Inclusive Institutions At All Levels
CAA mission will seek to encourage governments to use ever y instrument available to them to promote peace and access to social justice in its campaign.
Goal 19: Strengthen The Mean of Implementation & Revitalize Global Partnership for Sustainable Development
CAA seeks to collaborate with partners (CSOs, NGOs, governments, media teams and the private sector) who are already promoters of the UN SDG goals. This will further reinforce our objectives to promote the SDG goals with the CAA mission f rom state to state. This campaign mission will no doubt help to strengthen means of implementation of partnership for sustainable development.
